what are the best incontinence aids, reflux remedies and corn pads for seniors?
hope this is a more suitable question for seniors and won’t be deleted.
I don’t need incontinence yet.
or corn pads, but I can put out some corny answers. I do have acid reflux because I eat stuff I shouldn’t…just use Omezperal. Guess that’s how it’s spelled.
And I don’t always take it, then I whine…or I guess I groan…to myself.

Hubby likes Alka-Seltzer and I take Pepcid. These may not work for everyone but you can always try them. I don’t know about corn pads or incontinence aids. your questions are alright. Never offended. Poppy

If the incontinence is "urgency, not from leaking, coughing or laughing, but those terrible urges that it starts to explode as soon as you see the toilet., I’m sorry it is a bitch! Please try Cranberry capsules, Walmart, and get the once a day strength. I know it sounds hokey, but it has helped me immeasurably and I had the urgency really bad. It would interrupt my day.

Depends, no I really mean, Depends. Also for incontinence, my son has had problems with this and he is prescribed Oxybutin for incontinence and it definitely works for him.
Acid reflux, been there done that. Hard to say which one, I tried all, even Rx ones but after being on them awhile, seemed immune to them, so I had surgery for hiatal hernia. I can now eat whatever I want, no medication, no reflux.
Corn pads, always Dr. Scholl’s products, since I don’t know of any other brand.

Well Roxy for your first query, ladies handle those kind of problems best with Poise, available from Woolies and I’m sure Big W as well.
Reflux is fun isn’t it ? If you get heartburn with that prevention is the best cure – you know no coffee, fatty foods, spicy foods – just do not enjoy anything you eat and you should be right. But really are you sleeping with 3 pillows propping you up ??? – there is a risk of aspiration if your reflux is severe like mine.
Sodium bicarbonate, about a teaspoon in a glass of water works as a remedy for it, if I fed you some spaghetti bolognese next time you come to visit ??
Corn pads ? -Scholl ?
Lets see how long this sordid Answer stays here…
