Q: What is Kegelmaster?
A: It is a revolutionary progressive resistance exerciser created to help women with common conditions such as: lack of vaginal tightness, unsatisfactory orgasm, uterine prolapse, stress and urge incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic pain including severe menstrual cramps, cystocele and rectocele.
Q: How do I use Kegelmaster?
Q: Kegelmaster Instructions
The Kegelmaster is simple to use. Your regime can be as little as 5-10 minutes 3-4 times a week. The best exercise routine is one that occurs at a set time every day, such as in the evening just after the children are asleep.
How to use the Kegelmaster
Standard Resistance (1-15)The Kegelmaster includes 4 medical grade stainless steel springs. These springs are configured by the user on the 4 internal posts of the Kegelmaster unit.
Advanced Resistance (+64)The Kegelmaster Advanced includes 4 additional golden zinc-plated springs. These springs are used in combination with the standard springs
Step 1Unscrew the knob on top of the Kegelmaster unit. Open the unit and insert 1 spring on the back post, post #1. This is the post closest to the back of the unit or hinge. Fit the spring into the post on the top and bottom of the unit. See diagram and spring settings above.
Step 2Once you have the spring(s) in place on the top and bottom posts of the unit, close the Kegelmaster™ until the bolt is visible through the top slot. While holding the unit closed screw on the comfort adjust knob all the way until the unit is closed completely.
Step 3Lie or sit on a bed or the floor with your back supported so that you can bend your knees and place your feet flat on the floor about two feet apart.
Step 4Lubricate the vaginal area and the insertion tip of the Kegelmaster, the top 3 inches from the tip to the flare. (Water soluble lubricant is recommended.)
Step 5Gently insert the Kegelmaster unit into the vagina with the comfort adjust knob facing up. The unit is designed to stop at the flare about 3 inches of penetration. A small percentage of women initially have the instinct to do an abdominal push, however this is not a Kegel contraction. An abdominal contraction can cause the unit to slip out. Hold the Kegelmaster unit in place with your hand and guide it with your fingers until you are able to do proper Kegel contractions. Use your muscles to squeeze the unit closed don't push the unit out.
Step 6While the Kegelmaster unit is inserted unscrew the comfort adjust knob counterclockwise to allow the unit to open inside you until you feel the pressure against the vaginal muscles. Continue to unscrew the knob but don't permit the unit to continue to open to a point where it is uncomfortable or painful. When you are first starting your exercise regimen be patient and don't over stress the muscles.
NOTEIf the comfort adjust knob is close to completely unscrewed and you are unable to feel pressure against the vaginal muscles or the unit is not opening then you should screw back down the knob so the unit closes, gently remove the unit and move to the next level of resistance until you have found the starting level of resistance where the unit is able to open while inserted within your vagina. It is not uncommon to start at a level higher than level 1.
KEGEL EXERCISE REGIMENYou are now ready to start your exercise program. When performing the Kegel exercise concentrate on using your vaginal muscles to squeeze the Kegelmaster™ closed. Focus on closing the Kegelmaster™ using only your vaginal muscles, avoid using your abdominal or buttocks muscles. Hold the unit closed for a one - two count and release. If you're getting movement, you are on the right setting and you're exercising properly. The exercise sequence starts with 3 sets of 30 contractions per day. With each contraction you attempt complete closure of the Kegelmaster™ to increase both strength and range of motion. Squeeze count one - two and release, repeat two more times without pause and then take a 3-5 count break and repeat for 30 full sets of 3 squeezes each.
NEGATIVE RESISTANCEAs a beginner to Kegel Exercises you may find it difficult or even impossible to close the Kegelmaster unit using your vaginal muscles alone. If this situation occurs you should employ the technique of "Negative Resistance".
Negative resistance is a technique whereby you use your fingers to manually close the unit then assist with your fingers as you allow your vaginal muscles to resist as the unit opens. Continue to do negative resistance and shift more of the pressure from your fingers to your vaginal muscles. As the unit opens squeeze and count 1-2-3 (seconds) and then repeat.
At any time if you find the resistance is too high on a particular level you should reduce the level of resistance or employ negative resistance until you are able to complete that level using your pelvic floor and vaginal muscles alone to close the unit.

Q: Who should not use The KegelMaster?
A: Please read carefully.
Q: Will The KegelMaster work for me?
A: It can help any woman with the drive and desire to strengthen and tone the pubococcygeal (PC) muscle, resulting in greater sexual experience, pleasure and more intense orgasms.
Also it can stop unwanted:
Q: How will I know The KegelMaster is working?
A: After the first use of 15 minutes prior to sexual intercourse women will notice that their partners penis feels much larger, while the men will feel a tighter embrace. There will also be an increase in sensitivity and a more intense orgasm after the very first use of the The KegelMaster for you and your partner. After a few short uses of the The KegelMaster exercise program, women with incontinence will no longer suffer from embarrassing leaks, and vaginal strength and sexual power will be theirs!
Q: What if I can't get The KegelMaster to move?
A: If you are unable to get any movement, we recommend that you use a vibrator to touch the clitoris which will cause an involuntary contraction and the unit will move. Many women have actually experienced their first ejaculating orgasm by having The Kegelmaster open and using a vibrator to bring themselves to an orgasm.
Q: How long do I have to use The KegelMaster?
A: All muscles in the body will atrophy (get weak, soft, and loose tone) without exercise. Make a commitment to use The KegelMaster for the rest of your life. Someday you will look back and realize you've made the best decision of your life.
Q: What happens if I stop using The KegelMaster?

In some women the ability to have vaginal orgasms will be lost.
Q: Should I worry about soreness or bleeding from using The Kegelmaster?
A: There are small capillaries at the surface of the vaginal tissue. When an amount of pressure is put against the tissue some spotting may occur. This is nothing to worry about, this can also happen during sexual intercourse. The KegelMaster may produce some soreness or slight discomfort, no more than exercising any other part of the body at the gym. If it hurts stop for a few days, and lower the spring resistance and continue until it is comfortable to use. Using The KegelMaster will become pleasurable, fun, and sexually exciting. Enjoy!
Q: Should I worry how far The KegelMaster opens my vaginal muscles before contraction?
A: NO! The whole idea is to allow the vaginal muscles to extend as far as possible without pain, then contract. The control knob will allow adjustment in the amount the vaginal muscles will be extended.A well extended muscle that is exercised in any part of the body will always grow stronger. Using The Kegelmaster to open the vagina will never stretch or make the vagina larger or cause any damage to the muscles of the vagina.
Q: How do I clean The KegelMaster?
A: HANDWASH WITH WARM SOAP AND WATER BEFORE AND AFTER USE. ALL METAL AND SPRINGS ARE MADE OF SURGICAL GRADE STAINLESS STEEL. Although stainless steel is much more resistant to corrosion than ordinary carbon or alloy steels, in some circumstances it can corrode. It is 'stain-less' not 'stain-impossible'. In normal atmospheric or water based environments, stainless steel will not corrode as demonstrated by domestic sink units, cutlery, saucepans and work-surfaces. In more aggressive conditions, the basic types of stainless steel may corrode and a more highly alloyed stainless steel can be used. However, we do recommend to get the right Kegelmaster cleaner. You can buy it in the store under necessities ...

Make sure you lubricate the vaginal area with a water soluble natural lubricant and lubricate the Kegelmaster at the tip. Place the Kegelmaster between your thighs, insert the unit into your vaginal opening until it is firmly in place. You will notice this when the Kegelmaster feels much smaller and locks into place.
Grasp your Kegelmaster firmly, you are now ready for your initial adjustment!! This is done by turning the knob at the top of the Kegelmaster counterclockwise - until the knob is no longer touching the top of the Kegelmaster and until you feel a slight pressure. This should not be uncomfortable.
NOTE: If the knob is at the top of the Kegelmaster and you don't feel any pressure from the Kegelmaster putting resistance against the vaginal muscles, then you will have to add another spring. If you have the right tension, squeeze down against the Kegelmaster. If you are easily able to clamp down with your vaginal muscles completely for thirty reps (closings), remove the unit from your vagina and change the position of the spring, moving forward one pin (see Power Spring Combinations). If you are still able to easily close down all the way, for thirty reps - after insertion, then you must move the single spring back to the rear pin (1) and add a spring to the next forward pin (2), then repeat the process.
Power Spring Combinations:
1,2,3,4, 1*2, 1*3, 1*4, 2*4, 3*4, 1*2*3, 1*2*4, 1*3*4, 2*3*4, 1*2*3*4
The ideal spring tension is determined by one's ability to close the Kegelmaster at the beginning of the exercise and become unable to close it completely at the end of 30 reps. This is not hard to do and it is a lot of fun to see how many of the springs you can squeeze for 30 reps, having difficulty with the last five. The exercise sequence starts with 3 sets of 30 reps daily. With each rep you attempt complete closure of the Kegelmaster, pausing in between each set of 30 reps for 3-5 seconds. It is recommended to work up to 6 sets of 30 reps a minimum of 3 times a week. An individual may do more sets, but it is not advisable to exceed 30 reps. A final fatigue of the muscle until the last rep is performed with very little vaginal movement is your goal. When you are finished, close the device before removing! Gently close the device, tighten the knob and slowly remove the Kegelmaster.
Ideally, use the kegel exerciser twice a day, morning and evening. For women with prolapse, it is recommended to use the Kegelmaster in the morning to start with.
For prolapse or any other medical condition, please consult your doctor before purchasing the Kegelmaster.
The Kegelmaster is cleared and deemed effective by the FDA as a medical device for incontinence.
We in no way intend to diagnose, treat or make any medical claims about the Kegelmaster.
Cleaning the Kegelmaster is simple. Use an anti-bacterial cleaner after each use. Open device, remove springs, and use a small brush to reach all areas of the Kegelmaster. Dry and store for the next use.
