Urinary incontinence in an older cat is a symptoms of what?
Tonight I picked up Polly (age 14-16, Siamese-Domestic Shorthair cross). She was urinating as I lifted her and I got cat pee on my hand and arm and on the rug. There was quite a bit. I put her down and she ran downstairs. She is showing signs of aging. Is incontinence a symptom of aging? What else could it be? Thanks!
My 22 yr old cat never did this so I don’t think at 14-16 it is a sign of aging. She certainly needs a vet check on her blood values at that age. I hope that you do take her in for a good checkup to she if she has any medical issues that could be treated.
