Why Not Do Kegel Exercises On My Own?
You certainly could do Kegel exercises on your own. However, there are a few drawbacks to this:
- Performing Kegel exercises without the benefit of a resistance aid (and we believe the KegelMaster is the best!) actually limits the benefits of the exercise. Studies indicate that merely “squeezing” these muscles has only moderate results. Doing Kegel exercises with the benefit of a resistance device produces faster results.
- Many women have difficulty locating the correct muscles. Exercising the incorrect muscles (though they may be in the same general area) may actually cause the Kegel muscles to become weaker as the body becomes more dependent on these other, now stronger, muscles.
- Using a vaginal exerciser with resistance allows you to obtain optimal results in less time.
- Resistance devices promote greater strengthening and toning results.
